After more than 20 years working in hotels and banquets, I’ve learned one truth—events are about people. The people hosting, the people celebrating, and the people working behind the scenes to make it happen.
I started The Art in Service because I care about those moments when everything comes together. From weddings to milestone birthdays to cultural celebrations filled with tradition, I work with clients who want events that feel personal and meaningful.
What we do is simple: we provide the support that makes your event feel effortless. Sometimes that’s a trained team of servers or bartenders. Sometimes it’s coordination that keeps the timeline moving. Occasionally, it’s rentals that transform your vision into reality.
This work matters to me because I’ve been where you are—wanting to celebrate without worrying if things will run smoothly.

Operations Manager

With an engineering mindset and military background, Don keeps our warehouse organized and running on schedule. Every piece of equipment has its place, every delivery follows a system, and nothing leaves our facility without its inspection.
When he’s not managing inventory or designing custom backdrops for events, you’ll find him cycling through the city. The same focus that makes him an avid cyclist makes him essential to our operations team.
Don brings the systematic order that balances Soukeyna’s creative vision. While she focuses on the client experience, he ensures every fork, table, and backdrop arrives exactly when and where it needs to be. His military training means no detail gets overlooked, no timeline gets missed.
He’s the steady foundation that lets our creative team focus on making events happen.
